Version 1.0 of Panorama Free is still available from NCSA. I don't have
the URL with me but you will find it under Mosaic (yes, they're still
making it) under tools.

NCSA has an address something like www.ncsa.uiuc.edu

However, Bill's point is well taken about reliance on particular software.
