FLICC Orientations to National Libraries and Information Centers Series
National Technical Information Service
As part of a series of orientations to national libraries and information
centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal librarians to become
better acquainted with the National Technical Information Service. The
program will include:
Welcome and Introduction;
Briefing-Overview, Strategic Plan;
Tour of the facility, and;
Wrap-Up.

Main Foyer at NTIS. Wait for Tour Guide.
Directions
From Virginia and Maryland: Take 495 to
Exit 5W. Take Braddock Road West to Port
Royal Road and turn left. Continue
approximately 300 yards. The NTIS building
is on the left. For more information call

Parking
Parking is free on the street; some in the
parking lot.
Metro
There is no Metro station in the vicinity.
The closest Metro station is Dunn Loring
(Orange Line).

requested five (5) business days in
advance of the event.
