Someone did. Remember "Don't trust anyone over 35?" Trouble is, everyone of
that generation is now in his/her 40s. :)

I found Vernor Vinge's _A Fire Upon the Deep_ to be excellent reading, even
though one species of aliens he introduced gave me a headache trying to
comprehend.
