A minor amendment request for the EAD revision.
Can we have a suitable attribute added to <altformavail> to allow for indicating the type of form in which it is
available - a "type" attribute or even "label" would do it, allowing for a text note or description. The following
example shows how a large archive of large standing can accumulate copies of the same text, and also includes
references to printed versions (other possibilities could be microfilms, photographs etc).
In this example I have had to use the portmanteau attribute altrender to stand in for the required attribute:
