Bradley,
I am having some luck with Panorama stability--reading my local
and unix ead files--by using Panorama in conjunction with Netscape.
I open up Panorama while Netscape open, and I always check that
Panorama is set to have Netscape as its browser.
Actually, funny as this may seem, Panorama Free is quite able to deal with
my files when used as a Netscape helper; whereas I have had some problems
with Panorama Pro and a helper.
Anyway, what I do now is edit my .nav and .ssh files using Panorama Pro
(Netscape running silently in the background) and then put the whole mess
up on the system and check with Netscape using Free as the helper.
I am using Pro-cite to get some sort of EAD markup, as well as HTML, from
a simple form which our students can master. I know that Liverpool
University is using the same program with some degree of success.
