1. Who is Dover?
2. Please remember that this is an international mailing list. If you send
even a professional linguist to his Webster's 3rd International, you should
edit your message to eliminate the obscure vocabulary!
3. "If you believe that, sir, you will believe anything."
4. Surely the real point here is that the ancient Greeks (at least in the
published opinion that has come down to us - our own experience should teach
us not to assume that published and public opinion always coincide) do not
seem to have classified people as "homosexuals" and "heterosexuals". Whether
the range of sexual behavior was actually much different is another question!
