"Everyone should respect everyone else's choices as to which they use" is a
fiction most used by people to mean I can say whatever I want and damn you
if you don't like it. I don't mean the original poster meant it that way,
it is a good theory, and in the best of worlds, that respect will arise
spontenously. In the best of the worlds, of course, we wouldn't have
people scoffing at us "sci-fi buffs" (their term, not mine) so that we
won't even have an SF/Sci-fi controversy.
(Un)fortunetly we do not live in the best of worlds, but is the only one we
have...
