Position Announcement
Director, Community Resource Center
The Community Resource Center is a service of the United Way of Central
Georgia. The mission of the Center is to serve, strengthen and support
the Central Georgia nonprofit community. Services include a grants and
management library (a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection),
nonprofit management training, board leadership development and
technical assistance.

Qualifications include a general understanding of nonprofit management,
private philanthropy and the grant research process. Well developed
reference and research abilities and an understanding of principles and
practices of library operations. Excellent listening and interpersonal
skills. Effective oral and written communications skills. Working
knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Internet usage.

The salary range for the position is $25,000-$30,000. The office hours
are 8:30-5:00, Monday-Friday. The benefits package includes insurance,
retirement and a generous vacation plan.
