A hardened 42-year old fanatic of Lewis Carroll, I came across a
book in a boostore of a collection of stories written by various authors
writing stories that refer to Alice's adventures in Wonderland. When I
returned to the store, their only copy was sold, and they could not find
the book in their database (evidently, it has a title other than starting
with "Alice" or "Wonderland"). I would appreciate any info on the book
and whether or not it is going to be released in paperback.
I am familiar with other writers who have tackled the Wonderland
universe ... _Automated Alice_, where Alice travels to 1998 and meets a
robotic version of herself, and there is also a short story where the
poem _Jabberwocky_ can open the door to inter-dimensional travel for
children when they fathom its mysteries. I may be unclear on the plot of
the latter as it has been some years since I read it. I do not remember
the names of either of the previous two authors, either.
