Early in the emergence of the Internet and the World Wide Web (WWW), DTIC
adapted to the latest in information processing technology to improve how
its information holdings are collected, processed, stored and
distributed. DTIC's Internet services provide a wide array of
information such as DoD press releases, DoD directives and instructions,
photographs and documents. One of DTIC's most popular sites is Public
STINET--the Scientific and Technical Information Network--which includes
access to the last 11 years of citations to unclassified unlimited
technical reports, a variety of links to databases and other sites
containing DoD information and a selection of full text documents that
are available for downloading.
DTIC's headquarters facility is located at the Headquarters Complex on
Fort Belvoir, VA. Regional offices are located in Boston, MA; Dayton, OH;
Albuquerque, NM; and Los Angeles, CA.
