<< Hey, don't credit/blame Disney for anything in this movie. It's from 20th
Century Fox, which is attempting to take on Disney in the animation
market. (Apparently Warner Brothers has set up a big new animation studio
too.) And yes, I read that Fox holds the rights to an old Broadway play
of the same name, and produced the 1956 film version starring Ingrid
Bergman.

FYI look for Warner Brothers release of a new Batman animated movie on video
soon... a different take on Mr Freeze vs the dark knight... and for any
animation fans... try to tell the difference between traditional cel anim vs
CG (computer generated/graphics) anim in this video... there's a few CG
shots.
As for Anastasia, a coworker told me A&E's Biography had an excellent show
last Monday about the Romanov family and on Tuesday it was about Anastasia...
My 4 yr old enjoyed the movie, especially the bat, but asked some questions
about why Rasputin was chasing Ana... hard thing to explain, but I think i
did ok... I look at it this way... at her age, history doesn't mean
anything... and she'll learn about it when she's older... as for my own
opinion, the film looked beautiful, songs weren't too catchy or memorable,
and the theater was too noisy with all the kids...
Happy Thanksgiving!
