Oh, dear. Confusion confounded. I wasn't attempting to
intimidate anyone or tic anyone off. It's just that we
once used "space opera" as a critical term for what we
thought of as non-serious, trivial sf set in space and that
later people picking up the term but not understanding what
was being said, began to apply it to all sf set in space,
so that the term lost its derisive meaning. See the article
