Thre has been discussion about creating a companion to EAD that would
address the same areas as ISAAR (and thereby enrich certain areas of
EAD) but no concrete proposals have advanced from those discussions.
Partly to imp[rove my understanding of ISAAR and also to test the waters
on this subject, I have created a preliminary dtd that is
ISAAR-compatible and EAD compatible. But my investigations suggest that
there are several possible approaches to structuring such a dtd.
