> Duties: Serves as senior Library Technician with major operational
> responsibilities for the Circulation Desk functions of the Pentagon Library, which supports the mission-related information requirements of the Department of Defense military and civilian personnel at all policy and decision levels and other authorized users in the National Capital Region. Circulation systems and patron registration service: Responsible for the daily operations: charging, discharging, renewing library materials; tracking reserves; monitoring and retrieving record and circulation databases, using established procedures and policies. Uses judgment about exceptions to policy regarding load periods and patron registration. Monitors reserve functions.
