Technical Services Workstations
1998 May 26/Pittsburgh, PA and 1998 May 27\Philadelphia, PA
This full-day, hands-on workshop will address the idea of the
technical services workstation. For beginners, it will examine both
the underlying concepts as they relate to the cataloging environment,
as well as present an example of a typical workstation. For those
already possessing some experience working with technical services
workstations, the workshop will offer a hands-on opportunity to work
with various components and discuss ideas for local optimization. The
presentation and follow-up discussion will also look at what might be
found in the workstation of the future.
