Dear American Memory Fellows,

It has been good to see news of your dissemination activities related to
American Memory. Sounds like it has been a busy year for us all! Here are
most of the dissemination activities of American Memory Fellows Peter
Milbury and Brett Silva:

Presentations and Conferences:

June and August 1997: Presentation: American Memory Resources, to The 1997
California History-Social Science Technology Academy, Chico, CA.
(Curriculum Resource Developers for the SCORE History-Social Science
Website).

October 1997: Primary Sources Online: Using High Quality Learning Resources
On the Internet In Your Classroom, Two-part Workshop for Chico Unified School
District teachers and librarians.

November 1997. North State History Social Science Conference in November,
Redding, CA. Presentation to the Secondary participants.

November 1997: The News On Parade: Finding and Using Free On-Line Daily News
on the Internet (included a section on American Memory), a conference session
for California School Library Association annual conference, Pasadena, CA.

Fall, 1997. Presentations to Pleasant Valley High School Social Science
Department (Chico, CA) two different times.
