Though Shatner does not like to give credit, and "his" books sell better
because of his celebrity name, his novels are written by other hands. (I
believe his Tek series was actually written by Ron Goulart, a talented SF
author in his own right, though I could be mistaking the actual author, who
is given little more than an acknowledgement thank you in one of the
books).
