FLICC Orientations to National Libraries and Information Centers

National Technical Information Service
As part of a series of orientations to national libraries and
information centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal
librarians to become better acquainted with the National Technical
Information Service. The program will include:
*Database Creation and Order Processing
*Collection Development
*Web Sites and Services
*Projects for the Depository Library Community
Date: Wednesday, July 8, 1998
Time: 9:15 a.m. - 12:00 noon
Place: United States Department of Commerce, National Technical
Information Service, 5285 Port Royal Road, Springfield, VA
Meeting Place: NTIS Bookstore at Main Entrance
Directions: From Virginia and Maryland--Take 495 to Exit 5W. Take
Braddock Road West to Port Royal Road and turn left. Continue
approximately 300 yards. The NTIS building is on the left. For

Parking: Parking is free on the street; some in the parking lot.
Metro: There is no Metro station in the vicinity. The closest
Metro station is Dunn Loring (Orange Line).
