This was based on an H.P. Lovecraft story, at least it said so in the
movie. Does anyone know which one? That reminds me of another
Lovecraft movie, not very good, but I can't remember the title. It
was about stimulation of the pineal gland which let the people see
this weird worm-looking things fly through the air which were there
all the time. Anyone know that one?

<< Prince of Darkness. (shudder). Some reviewers have called this a bomb, I
tend to disagree. While it doesn't have much violence, I think of this as
a good psychological-horror story. If memory serves, a cylinder containing
Satan is found; scientists probing it have all sorts of horrible things
happen to them >>
I saw most of this film on HBO, missing only about the first ten minutes
or so. Which is to say, the title of the movie. Been wondering off and on
what the hell I'd been watching for a couple of years now. Thanks for filling
me in. Pretty good horror flick, especially for Clive Barker, who is a man
destined by his last name to make absolute dogs of movies.
