I'm a self confessed Varley nut (I even watched "Millenium" =) and I
bought the "Blue Champain" short story anthology years ago. The scene
where the women commites suicide by putting her head in a microwave gave
me the willies for weeks. I recently picked up a small hard-bound
version from the SF book club. I liked the story, but its been years
since I read it. If I get a spare hour I'll go back and refresh my
thoughts.
Did you get a chance to read his "Superman in Russia" story in the
recent "Superhero" complelation?
Someone said a while ago about a new novel due this summer. Lord I hope
so because this crop of summer movies has me longing for a good book ...
no wait, scratch that, ANY book.
