Timothy,
In response to your posting below, I have text for item SECOND herein (the EAD RT web
site). Let me know if it's not suitable. As for item FIRST, shall I send you the info for the LOC
EAD page? Thanks.

One finding aid is accessible through the link to "Finding aids" on our web site; requires
Panorama to view (see Samuel Abraham Goudsmit Papers)
Have nearly finished second finding aid; both are quite long, legacy finding aids with unusual
features.
EAD working environment: Windows 95.
Applications used: WordPad; WordPerfect 8/Pro-Sgml; WordPerfect 5.1 macros; Panorama
Pro. Panorama is still problematic for me and I still ask those more knowledgeable for help.
Have learned that in WP8/SGML, when you open or insert incomplete or invalid SGML
documents, you must make sure NOT to check the box asking "Insert missing tags..." in the
Open Document window, or the software may not be able to read or validate your tags.
I am also using various other software tools (scripts, macros, NSGMLS) for automating the
tagging and parsing of the container lists, as they are long, repetitive and time-consuming!

The EAD Round Table is at the information-gathering stage in developing its
website.
I would like to make an open call to anyone who might be able to contribute
information concerning a couple of areas.
First - If you have a working EAD site (even if it's incomplete) that's not
listed
by the Library of Congress EAD page:
http://www.loc.gov/ead/eadsites.html
let me know. We are trying to get as broad a range of sites listed as
possible.
Second - If you have experience working with software packages -
especially about how to tweak programs, configure helper files,
place auxiliary logic, rules, navigator, or style files so they work
properly with
your editor or browser (and platform), please volunteer to write a brief
paragraph for us - so others may avoid the pitfalls of faulty software
documention.
In particular, I am hoping to find info. on:
PANORAMA ("FREE" AND PRO)
MULTIDOC PRO
INTERNET ARCHIVIST
DYNATEXT
AUTHOR/EDITOR
WORDPERFECT
If you also have comments on glitches, common errors, or odd features of
these products (barring anything libelous), they would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks (in advance) for the input.
