"Talk to the Experts" Brown Bag Series
Implementation of an ILS at the Library of Congress
At this meeting, the first in a series of brown bags featuring library
and information experts, Dr. Barbara Tillett, Director of the Library
of Congress Integrated Library System (ILS) Program, will report on
the progress and implementation of the Program, including:
* LC's implementation strategy to replace "legacy" systems
* the procurement process
* implementation planning (structures, training,
post-implementation projects)
* benefits for the library and its users
Date: Wednesday, January 20, 1999
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. (Registration begins at 12:30 p.m.)
