Technical Services Librarian - Excellent opportunity to grow in Contract
position with large government library in Maryland. Oversees all activities
of the Acquisitions, Cataloging and Serials department. Supervises staff.
Coordinates and plans for the department. Responsible for training and
operation of library’s automated systems: Datatrek, SIRSI, and OCLC.
Prepares weekly and monthly reports and participates in collection
development.  Candidate should have MLS, 3 years of library experience and
excellent knowledge of library systems.  Salary in the low 40s.

Assistant Unit Supervisor - in a large government library in Beltsville, MD.
This is a full-time contract position and is responsible for direct
supervision of Shelving and Retrieval Clerks and a Quality Assurance
Assistant.  Resolves problems with shelving and retrieving, train and
counsel employees, and compiles statistics into spreadsheets.
Qualifications:  should be able to manage multiple tasks and direct staff,
must have knowledge of bibliographic information, library classification
schemes and library collection management procedures.  Excellent
communication skills.  Salary high 20s to low 30s.  Full-hire with benefits.

Library Technicians(2) to work at a regional library in Charlotte Hall, MD.
Will be adding cataloging information into a database and adding barcodes to
books and other duties as assigned.  Excellent opportunity for student or
someone interested in working in libraries.  Qualifications:  some computer
experience, team player, reliable.  Pays $10.00 an hour plus benefits.  This
is a full-time position, possibly part-time, for about 3 months.
