That's not the only problem. I have been doing a lot of research in
corporatation databases across the country. Many states have their sirector
searchable right on their Web site. To access this database for the state
of Massachusetts, it costs $144 to set up an account and $0.40 for each
minute that you are online searching. This is ridiculous! The information
is public.

Heear, hear. There have been some landmark legislation proposed to bring
certain information services to the Internet. Perhaps we need to encourage
legislators to craft such a bill that will require all public records
information to be available for free via state Internets. Radical, I
know....but it would make life so much easier.
