FLICC Orientations to Federal Libraries and Information Centers
Series
U.S. Department of State
As part of a series of orientations to federal libraries and
information centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal
librarians to become better acquainted with the Ralph J. Bunche
Library of the U.S. Department of State. The program will include the
following:
* Welcome and Introduction
* A Look at Yesterday and Today in the Library
* Tour of the Library
Date: Thursday, May 27, 1999
Time: 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. (Registration begins at 9:00 a.m.)
Place: Ralph J. Bunche Library, U.S. Department of State, 2201 C
Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20520
Special Instructions: Bring a picture identification--e.g., a
driver's license or an employee badge from another local, state, or
federal agency.
Metro: Foggy Bottom (Orange and Blue lines)-- Walk South on 23rd
Street to C Street Entrance

Registration: Free--but registration is required. Call the FLICC

The U.S. State Department's Bureau of Diplomatic Security requires
that you provide FLICC with your full name, Social Security Number,
date of birth, and nationality. Please be prepared to include that
information when you call to register.
Interpreting services (American Sign Language, Contact Signing, Oral
and/or Tactical) will be provided if requested five (5) business days
