NATIONAL 4-H YOUTH TECHNOLOGY CORPS:
CALIFORNIA'S EXPERIENCE
Three years ago, ACE sponsored the start up of the National 4-H
Youth
Technology Corps. ACE volunteers provide training facilities for the
young leaders. They received in-depth training and then returned to
their communities to serve as "techno-mentors" in helping others in
their communities get comfortable with information technology. Learn
why your organization should sponsor youth "techno-mentors" in your
community.
The week of April 11 - 17th, the next wave of more than
300 youth leaders will be in training at the National 4-H Center in
Washington. ACE volunteers and 4-H adult leaders discuss the
progress made by the youth in the California 4-H Youth Technology
Corps.
