The Center for Electronic Records, (U.S.) National Archives and
Records Administration (NARA) has updated some of its material on
the NARA homepage. The general URL is http://www.nara.gov/.
The Center has added four new descriptive aids to the materials made available on the NARA homepage. Specifically, these materials include a reference report describing a selection of electronic records in NARA pertaining to Civil Rights (http://www.nara.gov/nara/electronic/civilrt.html); a reference report with statistics on Vietnam conflict casualties generated from the [Southeast Asia] Combat Area Casualties Current File, as of December 1998, in the Records of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (Record Group 330) (http://www.nara.gov/nara/electronic/vnstat.html); a description of the National Collaborative Perinatal Project data files (1959-74) in the Records of the National Institutes of Health (Record Group 443) (http://www.nara.gov/nara/electronic/ncpp.html); and a description of the World War II Prisoners of War Punchcard data files in the Records of the Office of the Provost Marshal General (Record Group 389) (http://www.nara.gov/nara/electronic/wwiipow.html).
Other reference reports and descriptive handouts have recently been revised and updated. To access them, go to:

I hope this information is useful.
