Dear PCC colleagues,
The PCC Standing Committee on Automation (SCA) is surveying the PCC membership
(BIBCO, CONSER, and NACO libraries) to determine the extent of the group's
awareness and use of cataloging enhancements and tools developed by the
utilities with input from PCC participants.
Below are brief desciptions of the tools taken from RLG and OCLC web sites,
followed by several questions. Your answers will help the SCA assess usage
patterns, identify benefits and desired improvements, and decide how to
publicize and promote these and other tools to PCC members. Results of the
survey will be reported at the PCC Participants meeting in New Orleans. Thanks
to Ruth Bogan and Louise Ratliff for preparing this survey.
The SCA would appreciate your responses by June 15. Please send your completed
survey to Ruth Bogan at [log in to unmask]
We appreciate your help with this important research!
