Have you looked at John Clute's magisterial ENCYCLOPEDIA? Must be a few
hints there.
A standard reference, old, early post-struck and mildly Lacanian, is
Rosemary Jackson's FANTASY: THE LITERATURE OF SUBVERSION, Methuen 1981.
Samuel R. Delany is densely-written, but important, and he's got a few big
fat crtical/theoretical books on the shelves.
For a general pomo take on the whole mode, you might look at my own READING
BY STARLIGHT, (Routledge, 1995) if only for the bibliography. I cite lots
of fascinating stuff by Chip Delany, Fred Jameson and others worth hunting
out.
