*calls* such a list "top 100 films of the millenium" has already establishe=
d him/herself as a fool. All such lists are a tremendous yawn.

Surely Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" (1926) is at least as good if not (in my =
opinion) towering over any Star Wars film. Surely D.W. Griffiths' =
"Intolerance" and Erich Von Stroheim's "Greed" amongst MANY other silent =
films should be considered for the top ten. Just because people are =
ignorant of film history doesn't qualify them to put together a "top 100 =
films of the millenium", besides I can't recall too many 11th century =
cinematographers.
