FLICC Meeting Announcement 2000-24 FEDLINK Fall Membership Meeting Join your FEDLINK colleagues at the FEDLINK Fall Membership Meeting. In conjunction with the Library of Congress Bicentennial we will celebrate the accomplishments of our federal libraries. John Cole, Director of the Center for the Book and Co-Chair of the LC Bicentennial, will present a brief history of the Library of Congress and federal libraries. Barbara Christine, Chief of the Library Branch, US Army Community & Family Support Center, will show a slide presentation on setting up general libraries for deployed troops. The final presentation will feature Janice Beatty, Director of Central and Regional Libraries, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), who will highlight some of the library's award winning initiatives. NOAA was the 1999 FLICC Library of the Year. Come celebrate! In addition, Ruby Thomas, FEDLINK Member Services Manager, will introduce the new FEDLINK online registration process. The Personnel Working Group, Education Working Group, and Information Technology Working Group will present updates on their accomplishments. And Susan Tarr, Executive Director of the Federal Library and Information Center Committee, will provide a status report on FLICC and FEDLINK.
