I would suggest that you pay more attention to the writing speed of the drive than brand as each disk can take a while to burn. If you PC is dedicated to this purpose and you don't have high demand, speed may not be as important, but a single disk can take half and hour or more to burn after you complete your scans and initiate the 'create CD now' process.
