Hello to all

well?? :-) if I put all what I need I can never finish.
so!! the short version is
I need Help...
I am new in this world of (EAD)

1. can some one recommend  a good program to start (EAD)?
2.  I am taking some XML this Fall.. will that help??
and three... What is this CookBook I hear about.
