netLibrary eBook Demonstrations (cross posted) Tuesday, September 11, 2001 Two Sessions: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 - 3:30 p.m. Join Brad Redman, FEDLINK netLibrary Liaison, for an overview and demonstration of netLibrary. Their Web-based platform provides access to collections of electronic books with functionality beyond what is possible with physical books. netLibrary offers internet access and retrieval of full text of reference, scholarly, and professional books, and tools for managing electronic book collections. By combining the time-honored traditions of the library system with the efficiencies of digital content, netLibrary helps libraries create a richer, more productive learning environment for their patrons. FLICC/FEDLINK will be hosting two sessions of this demonstration in the Library of Congress National Digital Library Learning Center in the Madison Building, at First and Independence Avenue, S.E., Washington, D.C.
