netLibrary eBook Demonstrations (cross posted)
Tuesday, September 11, 2001
Two Sessions: 9:00 - 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 - 3:30 p.m.

Join Brad Redman, FEDLINK netLibrary Liaison, for an overview and
demonstration of netLibrary. Their Web-based platform provides access
to collections of electronic books with functionality beyond what is
possible with physical books. netLibrary offers internet access and
retrieval of full text of reference, scholarly, and professional
books, and tools for managing electronic book collections. By
combining the time-honored traditions of the library system with the
efficiencies of digital content, netLibrary helps libraries create a
richer, more productive learning environment for their patrons.

FLICC/FEDLINK will be hosting two sessions of this demonstration in
the Library of Congress National Digital Library Learning Center in
the Madison Building, at First and Independence Avenue, S.E.,
Washington, D.C. The Metro stop is Capitol South on the Orange and
Blue Lines.

Each session can only accommodate 45 attendees. Please sign up
by calling FLICC at (202) 707-4800.
