Office Proposes Amendments to Regulations Governing Content
and Service of Certain Notices on the Copyright Owner of a
Musical Work (66 FR 45241)

The Copyright Office is seeking comment on proposed
amendments to the regulations governing the content and
service of certain notices on the copyright owner of a
musical work. The notice is served or filed by a person who
intends to use the work to make and distribute phonorecords,
including by means of digital phonorecord deliveries, under
a compulsory license pursuant to section 115 of the
Copyright Act. Comments are due by September 27.

to regulations governing content and service of certain
notices on the copyright owner of a musical work (66 FR
45241)

January 28, 2002: Close of arbitration proceeding to set the
rates and terms for the digital public performance of sound
recordings license as it pertains to webcasters under 17
U.S.C. 114 and for the making of ephemeral copies in
furtherance of a digital public performance under 17 U.S.C.
112 (66 FR 38324)
