Does the Library of Congress have a plan for where you are willing to let MODS go? Right now, the conversations feel like it is quickly going to get as convoluted as anything MARBI did, with none of the "process" of a MARBI meeting. I don't want to stop the conversations. It may well be that we quickly converge on a reasonable compromise between expressiveness and complexity. But, at some point we are going to have to say that some direction is "excessive" and it would be helpful if there was some design philosophy underlying the work to help guide that decision.
