I have the same question and same concern.... but for MODS
(Metadata Object Description Schema)

This is a general question for the METS community.
Have any of the folks who have successfully implemented METS with OAI or
OAI with METS? We are working on a project that creates OAI records from TEI
Lite and EAD but we would like to use both METS and OAI schemas and I was
wondering whether anyone else has tried this yet and if so what the thoughts
about it are.
