Dear Paul, et. al,
        LC is currently weighing the impact of proceeding with the
implementation of the AACR2 revisions given the delay in publication of that
documentation.  The BIBCO and CONSER coordinators will be meeting with the
Director for Catalologing and the chiefs of CPSO and the Serial Record Division
to discuss other possible scenarios and we will be issuing a statement soon.
