the Internet. Rapsheets.com offers instant search results from its
database of more than 60 million convicted criminals.
Covering 37 states and numerous
counties, all of its records come directly from state and county government
sources, and include court records, department of correction records, probation
and parole records and law enforcement records. Further, all of its records
include name and unique identifiers such as date of birth, race, sex and some
SSN’s. Since all of Rapsheets.com records are in a standard
data structure, users can search either one jurisdiction at a time or the entire
National Criminal Index (NCI) with one click.

to full text. Customers can also access images from more than
8,000 unique journals from over 40 publishers and aggregators.

presentation in the Library of Congress National Digital Library Learning Center
in the Madison Building, at First and Independence Avenue, S.E., Washington,
