Join Andy Martens, Senior Director of Westlaw Platforms, as he outlines the exclusive timesaving  features of www.westlaw.com including KeySearch(tm) for novice Westlaw users;  My Westlaw, a personalized interface with custom pages based on either topic or jurisdiction; KeyCiteŽ Alert, automatic notification of the status of cases and statutes; and Research Trail, saved research sessions for up to 14 days.  The demonstration will also feature Westlaw Text Only: a "text only" user-friendly
interface that optimizes Westlaw for those using assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers or voice recognition software.
 
Public Records Information—Thursday, November 14th 
1:30 - 3:30 pm
Linnea Grooms, Senior Director for Westlaw Public Records, will give an overview of the hundreds of public records databases available on Westlaw and how to use them in a work environment.  Westlaw's databases containing public and proprietary information on individuals and businesses.  including public records that can help users identify assets and determine ownership of real property, motor vehicles, water craft, aircraft, and corporate stock; determine encumbrances and adverse filings affecting property, including bankruptcy filings, liens, judgments, and Uniform Commercial Code filings; and locate current address information.

FLICC/FEDLINK will be hosting these presentations in the Library of Congress National Digital Library Learning Center in the Madison Building, at First and Independence Avenue, S.E., Washington, D.C. The Metro stop is Capitol South on the Orange and Blue Lines.
