The Information Services Division (ISD) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is proud to present Digital Librarian and Internet Archive co-founder, Brewster Kahle, as guest speaker of the ISD Information and History Speaker Series.

The Internet Archive is the largest publicly accessible, privately funded digital archive in the world.  Mr. Kahle is also well-known for being the inventor of the Internet’s first publishing system: the Wide Area Information Server (WAIS).

As one writer put it, “Brewster Kahle…has been working to provide universal access to all human knowledge for more than fifteen years.”
