The Information Services Division (ISD) at the National
Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is proud to present Digital
Librarian and Internet Archive co-founder, Brewster Kahle, as guest
speaker of the ISD Information and History Speaker
Series.
Mr. Kahle will be speaking at NIST on May 8, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30
a.m. in Lecture Room A of the Administration Building. Due to

The Internet Archive is the largest publicly accessible, privately
funded digital archive in the world. Mr. Kahle is also well-known
for being the inventor of the Internet’s first publishing system: the
Wide Area Information Server (WAIS).
As one writer put it, “Brewster Kahle…has been working to provide
universal access to all human knowledge for more than fifteen
years.”
