FLICC Meeting Announcement 2004-5 For Federal Agencies in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area Using the GPO Binding Contract Join your colleagues for a briefing on using the new Government Printing Office (GPO) contract to procure library binding. This is an important session for library managers and staff directly involved in the binding preparation, shipment, and receiving processes. Members of the FLICC Preservation and Binding Working Group will highlight the changes in the contract, including new provisions for repair of general collection items and facsimile creation. Representatives from GPO will outline the contract requirements and responsibilities of both vendor and library. Keith Roberts from Mid-Atlantic Bindery will then give a virtual tour of the bindery, demonstrate binding preparation software and discuss binding procedures.
