Please join a WEST representative for a review of a new Federal
Legislative History page that is available on westlaw.com.
What's so special about the new page? The diagram, for starters. The
entire right side of the page is filled with a step-by-step diagram of the
federal legislative process. The diagram isn't there to show you how a bill
becomes
law, although a helpful reminder never hurts. It actually provides
links to Search pages for the databases appropriate to each step of the
legislative process. There's no need to recall which databases go with which
steps. The diagram--and the Search pages--do it for you!
Join Elinor Cheung, Senior Product Developer, as she leads you through the
features and benefits of the new Legislative History-Federal tabbed page on
Westlaw.
Elinor's background at West includes more than 15 years in Westlaw
database development and two years as a statutes publication editor. She
specializes in the areas of statutes and regulations, particularly USCA, CFR,
and related federal products.
Prior to coming to West, she was a Systems Analyst at Milwaukee County
Hospitals and a Market Research Analyst
at Miller Brewing Company. She
has a M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin and a JD from
Marquette University.
