Hi-- Two questions, only vaguely related: 1) I'm wanting to hook up three Plextor USB CD-R burners for simultaneous burning of identical files. There are two problems I'm having. We use Nero 6 as our burning software. Nero 6 will only let you burn to two drives simultaneously. One can purchase an upgrade for $300.00 to allow for simultaneous burning to up to 7 drives. We have not the money to spend on such a thing nor the need to burn more than 3 discs at once. This bums me out since I actually really like Nero. A. Is there a good, inexpensive (like $70.00-$100.00) piece of burning software out there that will allow us to burn to 3 USB drives at once? B. I imagine I'll need a USB hub of some sort since I don't have that many ports on the PC--is any one hub better than any other for this sort of application? We're using a PC running Win 2K and a Plextor PlexWriter PX-W4824TU/SW USB 2.0 external drive. 2) We've gotten a small amount of grant money to buy a hot cassette deck. I'm opting for a Nakamichi Dragon. A. I'm following Ebay, but anybody on the list have one for sale? B. Since I imagine that we'll have to have the deck serviced to bring it up to snuff, can anyone recommend someone with the chops to work on a Nakamchi Dragon in Vermont, or more broadly New England or the Northeast?
