FLICC Orientations to Federal Libraries and Information Centers Series
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Library
 
As part of a series of orientations to libraries and information centers, FLICC is offering an opportunity for federal librarians to become acquainted with the FBI Library, located in Quantico, Virginia.  The FBI Library was moved from the Washington, DC office to Quantico in 1971 to its own four-story building in the center of the FBI Academy campus.  The program will include:
     *  Welcome and Introduction
     *  Library Tour
     *  Facility Tour
     *  Visit to the Gift/Snack Shop

Place/Special Instructions
Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Library, Quantico, Virginia.  
The FBI Academy Complex is a restricted facility.  No cars will be permitted to enter the facility.  For this event, participants will board a bus at the Springfield Metro stop for round trip transportation to and from the academy.  An FBI employee on the bus will greet you and escort you to the facility.  The bus will pick up attendees at 9:30 a.m. for a 20-30 minute ride to the Academy and return to the Metro at the end of the tour program.
