Rutgers is in the process of building a database to underlie a MODS metadata entry utility for its Fedora-based digital repository. So we are trying to translate the MODS schema into database tables. Some is pretty straight forward, but other elements--name, date, etc.--are interesting challenges. Has anyone created a database for MODS input? Ruth Ruth A.
