Anaclare and others, The task force responsible for the Midwinter workshop (and this discussion list) is charged with setting up a Web clearinghouse for educators and trainers to share teaching materials relating to cataloging and metadata (this is one of the recommendations in Ingrid Hsieh Yee's report). In addition, there is another task force planning to assemble resources for the continuing education of catalogers. The two groups hope to collaborate in finding a host site for both sets of resources. We are finalizing an agreement with a consultant to assist in designing and identifying content for the clearinghouse. Anita's URLs and similar materials will likely find a home there as well. Many of our students do not have access to the Cataloger's Desktop and may not get it due to the cost. But if we had the URL's the students could access the sites directly. Anaclare F.
