Both positions require fluency in Russian and English, and U.S. citizenship. The Librarian position is a GS-1410-11 grade, with salary between $44,136 and $57,375 and requires knowledge and experience in cataloging books in Russian and English using OCLC. This position is also responsible for reference, book selection and database instruction in Russian. The Library Technician position is a GS-1411-07 grade with a salary between $29,821 and $38,767 and is responsible for acquisitions of Russian language materials, circulation, basic reference, and copy cataloging in Russian. Both positions include moving and housing allowances and begin in July/August.
