My name is Dan Pisarski and I am the Director of Digital Technology here at Schlessinger Media and Library Video Company. We are working with other groups within the school and library educational video market on standardizing the exchange of metadata for use on digital content delivery systems. I know the discussion on here (that I have seen since joining) is about the development of MODS, which is very interesting, but I also wanted to ask this group - what are you using (or planning on using) MODS for? Is this a replacement for MARC 21 for you? A target for OAI harvesting? A first step towards METS? Please reply to me directly unless the list admins feel this discussion would be good for the list, and thank you for your responses. Dan
