From: Patent Tactics, George Brock-Nannestad Hello, although the RIAA did not fare at all well against Verizion in the Supreme Court (their appeal was thrown out), according to http://www.riaa.com/news/newsletter/111804.asp they have now sued 750 John Does for infringing the P2P way. The last part of the press release states: "November data from Ipsos-Insight showed the percentage of Americans who have paid a fee to download music off the Internet has climbed 150 percent since late 2003." That corresponds nicely to 2 Americans having signed up in 2003, and 5 by now. Kind regards, George
